Adventure Time- Fan Art

Whilst being extremely busy finishing the content to Macro Shrub #2 for it's end of march release- I'm still finding time to dick around and do stupid doodles for mainly mine, but hopefully yours also, amusement! Matt saunders recently has been doing this awesome adventure time pieces and after having a chat with him about it, and sharing mutual love for what is my favourite cartoon of the moment, I too decided to do a few doodles, which especially is a rarity as I pretty much NEVER do fan art! Anyway expect a few of these to pop up, but here's one of my favourite character to emerge from the show: Lemongrab!!!

Melon Kombat

I still like to do ridiculous doodles just for fun when I can, and this is a prime example- haha what possessed me to draw this I don't know, but I really wish it was a real game now!

I made a pattern...

Hello! So i've probably been boring everyone to tears about macro shrub, but it seems to be paying off, we've sold at least a 1/3 of our stock already and we have some nifty features coming our way too! But anyway- that's not all I've been up to, as usual I'm working on a million different things at once- so here's a pattern I submitted for the ohh dear stuck on repeat competition! Patterns aren't usually my thing so it's sure not to win, but I had fun making this anyway and Iike it! :D

10 days until MACRO SHRUB #1 !!! Also I've already began on the epic sequel to Toastie-O ... you know that comic I've promised for the last two years which will be spread over an awesome two part special in Macro Shrub #2 and #3!! But let's not get too carried away, Issue One is very close and will only be released to a very short limited edition run of 40!!! This is because of the image below, Issue One's amazing screen printed front cover by Daisy Whitewolf!! (check out more of her awesome print work at http://cargocollective.com/whitewolfillustrations ) I promise they look even more badass in real life print!!! Anyway enjoy, and remember only 10 more days to go!!!!

(Also keep your eyes peeled on http://www.melonshrub.com/ our official melon shrub site- we've been adding interesting bits and bobs, atm it's currently the front cover, but this is where the zine will go live and be launched so get it bookmarked grud dammit!!! )

Hellboy sketch

Hey there! Still quiet on the content for 2012 so far (10 days until Macro Shrub #1 is launched though!!!) but here's a little fun drawing I did for James Howard's (@themooks) awesome #drawhellboy blog! ( http://mookiest.tumblr.com/post/14938165414/draw-hellboy - check it out some awesome pics from awesome illustrators up there! ) so anyway I was thinking about street fighter II at the time and I imagined Hellboy's particular handicap of a huge metal fist wouldn't make him very good at such a game......

Enjoy!
